BIO

Guitarist, solo artist, singer/songwriter, and head of Stereopolis Record Label, has long been a trailblazer in Argentina’s thriving rock music scene. His English language singles, crafted using a tape ‘n tubes, old-school recording process, have captivated a burgeoning audience with their unique blend of nostalgia and innovation.

Pil’s new single, “Enemy” it’s a soul-rock ballad that explores the concept of acknowledging oneself as their own worst enemy but embracing it. Recorded in Brooklyn, NY.

Jimmy Rip, renowned for his work with icons like Mick Jagger, Jerry Lee Lewis, Yoko Ono, and his role as the former lead guitarist for Television, produced Pil’s debut singles: “Act Together”, a compelling cover of a classic Ronnie Wood gem; “French Exit” a dazzling glam jam; “Sunflower” a soulful, mid-tempo track with ’70s gospel influences, celebrating life’s brighter moments; and “I Got You Stuck In My Mind”, a Motown Groove-inspired rock ‘n’ roll anthem boasts a catchy yet sophisticated chorus and a vintage sound.

Alongside “May Not Always Work”, encapsulates a Petty/Harrison vibe from the “Wilbury Era”; and “Whether Or Not”, a rocky-reggae tune recorded in Brooklyn, produced in Buenos Aires and brought back to New York to be mixed by Ivi Lee, the disciple of the late legendary Lee Perry.

Be careful, this “Pil” highly addictive!!!
